Award-winning Ghanaian rapper Sarkodie would have to pay sensational Afrobeats musician DJ Azonto $200,000 for a verse, he claims.
DJ Azonto asserts that he is talented enough to create a successful song on his own and does not require a Sarkodie feature or co-sign to accomplish it.
In an interview with Shatta Michy on Movement TV, DJ Azonto stated that while he would never provide Sarkodie with a free feature, he would not accept payment of less than $200,000 for a verse.
"For myself, I wouldn't provide Sarkodie with a free feature and I wouldn't work for less than $200,000. I won't charge Sarkodie less since I don't need him to create a successful song, "said he.
Recently, DJ Azonto declared his candidacy for Artist of the Year at the 2019 Vodafone Ghana Music Awards.
